Mrs. Daisy Huddlestun, 634 Seventh street, long time resident of Nevada and Story County died Saturday evening at 8:15 o'clock at Fulton, Ill. from a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Raymond M. Shipman of Ames officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Huddleton and Miss Lelia Appelgate had left Saturday noon on a leisurely vacation trip and had stopped at Fulton, Ill. for overnight. After partaking of their evening meal they had returned to their motel room and were reading mail they had taken with them unopened.

Death came suddenly to Mrs Huddlestun as she was sitting in her chair.

Always active in civic affairs, Mrs. Huddlestun was a long time members of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Loyal Sister's Sunday school class of the Methodist church, the Eastern Star, and of the Nevada Methodist church. She was also a member of the Social Hour club.

Surviving are the daughter, Grete, Mrs. Robert J. Burnett of Roland, six grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Huddlestun in Jan. 1936 and son Glen Huddlestun in 1910.

Born Dec. 7, 1872 the deceased was 93 years of age at her death.
