WILLIAM L. THOMAS

The death of William L. Thomas, 50, well known farmer of near Zearing, at Iowa sanitarium at 6:30 a. m. Friday, was a shock to the entire community. he had submitted to an operation for gall bladder and other complications on Monday and for a time appeared to be getting along nicely, until Thursday afternoon when his condition became more alarming.

Mr. Thomas, born on a farm near Zearing, was a son of the late Frank P. Thomas and his wife Achsah Thomas, the latter residing in Nevada.

He leaves besides his wife Pearl Thomas, a son Theron Thomas of Dumas, Texas, a daughter Margaret, a student at Iowa State college; his mother Mrs. Achsah Thomas and sister Miss Hannah Thomas of Nevada, brothers Charles S. Thomas and Walter C. Thomas of the Johnson Grove neighborhood and Herman R. Thomas of Roland.
