DONALD RAYMOND SCOTT

Donald Raymond Scott, 79, of Linn County Care Facility, died Sunday Dec. 15, 1985, St. Luke Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Ia.

He was born March 11, 1915, at Cambridge, Ia., to Ray J. and Mammie Odessa Hanks Scott. he was educated at Shipley Schools.

he was married to Mae Thomas in the early 40s on a fram near Cambridge.

Mr. Scott had lived in Cedar Rapids the last 25 years. Prior to that he lived north of Cambridge.

He was a heavy equipment operator in construction.

Graveside services will be in Nevada Cemetery Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. William Bass officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Ayersman of Ogden and Donna Thrasher of Kelley; two sons, Kenneth Scott of Mesa, Ariz., and Steven Scott of Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Fern Smith of Luther; a brother, Forrest Scott of St. Cloud, Minn., and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
