Frances M. Grimes, 73, of Huxley, IA., died of a heart ailment Sunday, Aug. 28, 1988 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, IA.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 9:30 a.m. at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines, IA. Burial was in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada, IA.

Mrs. Grimes was born in Shipley, IA. and lived in Des Moines since 1956. She formerly lived in Indiana and was a homemaker and a member of Windsor Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Basil Grimes; a son, Gary Grimes and a daughter; Linda Sears, both of Des Moines; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends were invited to call after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the funeral home.
