Death Early Today Of Ed. Coxworth At Guckeen, Minn.

Ed Coxworth, 65, native son of Story county, born December 23, 1881, on the Coxworth farm south of Nevada, died Suddenly at his home at Guckeen, Minn., at 2:30 this morning.

While burial will be in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery definite arrangement were not known by noon today.

Son of Wm. Coxworth, 824 Ninth street, the deceased is survived by his wife, two daughters, three sons. He is also survived by six sisters: Mrs. Dordelia Smith of La Mesa, Calif.; Mrs. Sadie Tmmons of Orlando, Florida; Mrs. Emily Sowers of Lemon Grove, Calif.; Mrs Leota Hogan of Marengo, Mrs. Floss Jones of Huxley and Mrs. Lillie Miller of Nevada.

Funeral Service for Ed Coxworth Here Friday Afternoon

Funeral services for Ed Coxworth, 63, who passed away Monday morning at 2:30 at his home in Guckeen, Minn., will be held in Nevada Friday afternoon at one o'clock at the Morfoot Funeral Home with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill officiating.

A service will be held Thursday afternoon at Guckeen after which the family will leave for Nevada. The body of Mr. Coxworth will arrive in Nevada Friday morning at 6 a. m. over the Rock Island and will be at the Morfoot Funeral home until time for the service.

Mr. Coxworth is survived by his wife and the following children; Lee and Kenneth of Guckeen, Minn.; Viola Nelson of Blue Earth, Minn.; Sylvia Hanneman of Guckeen and Forest Coxworth at home. In addition are five grandchildren, his father, Wm. Coxworth of Nevada and six sisters.
