Obituary

Walter Paulson was born Dec. 6, 1883 at Nevada, Iowa, to John and Maria Paulson. He died from a heart attack about 9 a. m. Aug 4 while asleep.

Surviving are his wife Nettie, 2 sons, Lavern of Ames and Capt. Norman of Camp Polk, La.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lowell Holbert, Dayton, Ia. and Mrs. Roy Hunt of Rockford, Ill. A sister, Mrs. Anna Staley lives at Wichita, Kansas.

Mr. Paulson was married to Nettie Nelson Dec. 21, 1910 at Nevada, and they lived near Nevada while engaged in farming until 1932 when they moved to west of Ames. Later, in 1937, they moved into the city of Ames where Mr. Paulson operated a general trucking business. The son Capt. Norman Paulson, had returned from Korea a few weeks prior to his father's death.

Mr. Paulson was a member of Bethesda Lutheran church.
