JOHN ANDERSON

John W. Anderson, 55, died very suddenly at his home at Nevada Friday* evening at 7:30, a victim of an acute heart attack.

He had worked as usual during the day and at the supper table indicated that he was not feeling well and ate a light meal. Leaving the table he dropped down upon the davenport, began breathing hard and asked for an aspirin tablet. Before the tablet was given him, he gasped suddenly and expired.

His sudden death came as a great shock to his family, the neighbors and friends, who had no warning of the serious affliction that overshadowed him.

Mr. Anderson was born on a farm near Nevada, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peder Anderson. Raised in the community he was married to a neighbor girl, Mrs. Emma Hansen, and she with three daughters survives him.

The daughters are Violet who is Mrs. Ray Chitty and lives at home; Ruth, now Mrs. Myron Boten living on the family farm near Nevada; and the youngest, Edna Mae, who lives at home and is a student in the Nevada schools.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 from the Methodist Episcopal church with Dr. C. D. Loose in charge. Interment in the Nevada cemetery.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John W. Anderson died on 27 November 1936.
