ALMA M. SIMPSON

Alma M. Simpson, 101, of Long Term Care, Story County Hospital, Nevada, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1985, at Long Term Care.

She was born at Nevada on Jne 9, 1884 to Charles and Mary (Johnson) Christensen. She was married to Charles Simpson May 6, 1946 at Marshalltown, Ia. He died in 1947.

Survivors include first and second cousins.

Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; a sister, Clara Christensen, and two brothers Chris and Marquis Christensen.

Mrs. Simpson graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing June 29, 1900. She was a lifelong career nurse with the Veterans Administration.

Funeral services will be a Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G. Ave., Nevada, Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Forrest E. Chaffee officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
