Mrs. Obertson Passed Away at Ames Hospital

Mrs. Olena Obertson, 73, mother of Miss Florence Obertson, 1044 F avenue, passed away at 10:30 last night at the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames where she had been taken by ambulance Saturday.

The body, which will rest at the Morfoot Funeral Home until Tuesday morning when it will be taken to Westby, Wisc. where the funeral service will be held and burial will be by the side of the husband and father.

Mrs. Obertson was born in Norway, Europe, March 8, 1874 and came to this country at the age of 16 years.

The deceased, who had lived here with her daughter for the past four years is survived by two daughters, Florence Obertson of Nevada and Mildred Leighton of St. Paul, Minn. and two sons, Selmer of Westby, Wis. and Arvid Obertson of Knoxville, Tenn.
