OBITUARIES

DIRKSEN--Anna Dirksen was born in Alexander, Iowa, on December 4, 1885, the daughter of John and Tena Dirksen. She had been failing in health for seven years and passed away at the Story County Hospital on June 4, 1965. She had been a resident of Nevada, Iowa for the past fifty years and also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church since childhood. Surviving are two brothers, A. M. Dirksen of Ames and R. F. Dirksen of Pampa, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Lew Hansen of Nevada, and number of nieces and nephews. The writer conducted the service and interment was in the Nevada Cemetery where she awaits the call of the Lifegiver.
