Mrs. Lulu G. Whitmore

Funeral services were held July 19 from the Methodist Church in Nevada for Mrs. Lulu G. Whjitmore. The Rev. James W. Dendler and the Rev. Vaughn Leaming officiated.

Casket bearers were Lee Alexander, Henry Beck, Wayne Huebner, Ben Severeid, Lester Corbin and Floyd Unwin.

Mrs. Whitmore was born in Coles County, Ill., on Aug. 24, 1886 to William and Lucy Field. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nels Johnson, a son, Elmo, and daughter, Winifred.

Her survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Ostrich of Maxwell, one son, Gerald Johnson of Ruthven, five brothers and two sisters.

Burial was at the Nevada cemetery.
