Services Held for Cleora C. Allen

Funeral services for Cleora C. Allen, 50, were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 9 at Olinger Mortuary in Lakewood, Colorado. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Lakewood.

Mrs. Allen, who lived at the Georgian Nursing Home, died Wednesday, October 4, of lung cancer.

The daughter of Amos and Alpha (Luing) Dodd, she was born November 12, 1927 in Baxter, Iowa. She worked as a bookkeeper in Lakewood since 1960.

Surviving are her children, Don Allison of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Dennis (Judy) Blanchard of Murray, Iowa; Mrs. Wes (Pam) Robinson of Craig, Colo.; and Dixie Moore of Lakewood, Colo.; six sisters, Mrs. DeLos (Wilma) Middleton, Mrs. Donald (Irene) Pierce, Mrs. Alvie (Ruth) Baxter, Mrs. Clyde (Emily) Griggs, all of Newton, Iowa; Mrs. Lee (LoRena) Hurt of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and Mrs. Darrell (Shirley) Dee of Baxter; two brothers, Lloyd Dodd of Baxter and Ernest Dodd of Colo, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 25 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
