Regina Johnson dead at 71

Mrs. Regina Johnson, 71, Nevada, died at 3:50 a.m. in the Story County Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two days.

She was born Feb. 11, 1892 in Edinburg, N.D. to Ole and Rebecca Thompson. She married the Reverend John M. O. Johnson June 18, 1914 at Clark River, N.D.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the American Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three sons: Dr. Merton A. Johnson, Nevada, Oliver R. Johnson, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Emmett Johnson, Rock Island, Ill., seven grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on April 23, 1963, tow brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held in the Ryan Funeral Home Saturday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. O. N. Beverseike officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
