EDNA GIFFORD

Funeral services will be held from the Central Presbytherian Church Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Gehrald Riesen officiating for Mrs. Edna G. Gifford, 1028 Fifth St., Nevada who died early Thursday morning at her home. She was 88.

Born September 14, 1885 in Jasper County, she ws the daughter of John and Perlina Graham and had lived in Nevada for the past 43 years. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Celeste William of Nevada; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and her husband, C.L. Gifford who died in 1962.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. The members of the Nevada chapter No.l 196 O.E.S. will attend the funeral of Mrs. Gifford in mass. O.E.S members are to meet at the Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home until noon Saturday.
