Rites set for L. W. Gibbs

Lewis W. Gibbs, 70, Nevada, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday* morning.

Born at Derby, he had been a Nevada resident for 43 years.

Mr. Gibbs is survived by his wife, Estella; a son, George, Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Cheville, also of Nevada and Mrs. George Asdalen, River Falls, Wis.; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Ryan Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie Zimmerman, pastor of the Nevada Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
