THOMAS E. CAMPBELL

Thomas E. Campbell was born on a farm north of Nevada on Feb. 17, 1913, the son of Benjamin F. and Pearl Osborn, and died at Veteran Hospital in Des Moines on July 29, after an illness of a year.

He was a mechanic and lived all his live near Nevada and Boone. He was veteran of World War II.

His father preceded him in death in 1931. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Pearl Campbell Briggs, Ames; a brother Lloyd, Los Angeles, Calif., and an sister, Mrs. Luella Watson, Boone.

Pallbearers at the funeral services were Henry Bowers, John Sharp, Howard Beal, Leo Sutherland, Rudy Carlson and Bert Wilson.
