Sudden Death of Frank C. Tyler Shocks Community

The Nevada community has been shocked by the sudden death of Frank C. Tyler, 1221 Fourth street, engineer at the Iowa Electric Light and Power company for the past 35 years, who passed away ahout 4:30 yesterday afternoon while on duty. Death was due to a heart attack.

Mr. Tyler was born at Mitchellville, Iowa Sept. 10, 1888. At his passing he had reached th age of 56 years, five months and one day.

Mr. Tyler is survived by his wife, Mildred Fry Tyler, by his daughter LaVon, at home, by his son, Lawrence Tyler who left the States Dec. 19, 1944, and is somewhere in the Pacific, his present whereabouts unknown, and his son Frank C. Tyler who left the State Sept 20, 1943 and is somewhere in France with the Medical Corps.

His grandchildren are Billy Tyler at home, Roger and Frank Tyler in Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his son Lester Tyler who was killed in an auto accident Jan. 23, 1933.

Mr. Tyler is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Fred Tyler and Austin Tyler of Long Beach, Calif., neither of whom will be able to be here for the funeral, and his sister Edna Claude of Delavan, Minn. who is here at this time.

Funeral arrangement were undecided at noon today.
