Robert Gray died Wednesday

Robert E. Gray, 51, 2513 Hunt St., business manager of the Iowa State Memorial Union the past three years, died unexpectedly Wednesday* afternoon.

Born at Valley Junction, he graduated from Ankeny High School and attended Parsons College at Fairfield.

He was an accountant and attended the International Accounting Society in Chicago.

A resident of Ames for eight years, previous to becoming business manager of Memorial Union, he worked for the Bank Examiners Office of the State of Iowa.

He was a member of the First Christian Church and Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Honor; three children, Mrs. Ada Marie Hyatt of Hanav, Germany, and Thomas and Kathy, at ome and an aunt, Mrs. Helen Blaine, Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are pending but will be from the First Christian Church with burial at the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Stevens Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established. Gifts may be left at Ames Trust and Savings Bank or College Savings Bank.
