Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

David Cleo Cooper was born July 16, 1949 to Cleo and Joyce (Saveraid) Cooper in Ottumwa, Iowa. David served in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Sergeant. David and Judy Tribby were married June 10, 1972 at Palestine Lutheran Church. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and loved traveling, snorkeling and spending time with friends and family.

David passed away January 28, 2014 at 64 years of age.

David is survived by three children, Andrea (Cameron) Williams and their children, John, Gabriel and Nate, of Sacramento, California; Heather (Jordan) Holcomb, of Victor, Idaho; and Scott (Beth) Cooper and their children, Landon and Paige, of Naples, Florida; and four sisters, Nancy (Max) Schreiber of Cedar Falls, Carolyn Lyon, of Redwood City, California, Joyce (Arnie) Wirth of Gilbert and Donna (Dennis) Millang, of Huxley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Judy.

Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Story County Veterans Affairs, 126 S. Kellogg, Suite 201, Ames, IA 50010.
