E. FRANK VAIL

E. Frank Vail, 85, of Nevada, Ia., died Monday, Oct 28, 1985, at Long Term Care, Story County Hospital, Nevada, of pneumonia.

He was born at Bureau County, Ill., Dec. 13, 1899 to Edward Franklin and Mary (Huldah) Vail. He was married to Gladys Molde Dec. 27, 1923 at Roland.

Survivors include Mrs. Vail of 926 H Ave., Nevada; a daughter, Rue Ann Sams of Ames, Ia., and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Mr. Vail was a retired farmer. He belonged to Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada, and Nevada Lodge No. 99 AF&AM.

Funeral services will be at Memorial Lutheran Church Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Forrest E. Chaffee officiating.

Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
