Lyle Bailey died in Arizona
Lyle Bailey, 72, former Zearing resident, died of a heart attack Friday a Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, from the Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing, with the Rev. Albert Bent officiating. Burial will be in the Zearing Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was born April 22, 1899, and moved to Zearing with his parents in 1919. He married Leta Rakin who preceded him in death. He worked with this father in a lumber yard in Zearing until his father's death in 1936 and then worked for Hallet Construction Co. for 16 years. He was commander as well as chief organizer of the American Legion Post of Zearing.
Mr. Bailey had lived in Arizona for the past six years. He marrie Cleo Wickham in 1968.
He is survived by his wife Cleo. He was preceded by his first wife and one broth Carleton.
