VERLE WILLIAMS

Verle Forest Williams, 76, of rural Nevada, died of a heart ailment at his home Saturday, April 26, 1984.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the Ryan Funeral Home. The Rev. Ernest Larson of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Verle Williams was born on April 12, 1908, to Walter I. and Carrie (Thomas) Williams on the family farm in rural Nevada. He attended Center Country Schools, and then Nevada High School for two years.

On Jan. 23, 1945, he was married to Erma Case in Atchison, Kan. Verle Williams had lived on the family farm for all of his life, and farmed there util he retired in 1974. He was a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Erma; one son, Lynn Williams of Nevada of Nevada; one stepson, Charles Case of Minneapolis, Minn.; one stepdaughter, Donna (Mrs. Richard) King of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister.
