Grace was born near Winterset on June 6, 1927 to Thurman and Louise (Butler) Clark. She married Duane Orcutt on September 12, 1948. He died April 14, 1997. They owned and operated Story City Cleaners until December 2011.

Grace Lucille Orcutt, 86, of Story City died November 20, 2013 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

She is survived by two sons, Tony (Kristine) Orcutt of Windsor Heights and Brian Orcutt of Denver, CO; two daughters, Elizabeth Orcutt-Kroeger of Ames and Mary (Jim) Harmon of Lino Lakes, MN; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, David Clark of Winterset and a sister-in-law, Maurine Hudson of Marshall, MN.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Dennis Kroeger; two brothers, Duncan and Charles and a sister, Geraldine McDonald.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Youth Ministry at Grace United Methodist Church.
