Kevin Shalley, 5, services Monday

Kevin Douglas Shalley, 5, son of William H. and Beverly Shalley, Nevada, died Thursday* at 4:15 p.m. while a patient at Mary Greeley Hospital. He was admitted about two weeks ago.

He was born May 6, 1956 at Story County Hospital, Nevada. He had been ill for the past 17 months.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, William Ivan, 7, and a sister, Lori Ann, 1; his grandparents, Sheriff and Mrs. J. I (Ivan) Shalley, Nevada, and Mrs. Ora Grace Tjelmeland, of Ames.

Funeral services will be held from the Nevada Evangelical United Brethren Church Monday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Robert Link officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

A memorial fund is being established. Contributions may be left at Ryan Funeral Home or at the church. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday.
