Orin Frank Adams, son of John Q. and Fannie Adams, was born in Nevada, Iowa, April 18, 1879, and died at his home, 1704 North 5th Street, in Nevada, Iowa, of a heart attack November 24, 1955.

He lived nearly all of his life in and near Nevada farming and while he had retired from active work for several years, he retained his interest in farming.

He joined th Christian Church in early life.

Surviving him is his wife, Blanche, of Nevada, one daughter, Bessie Adams Alexander, a granddaughter, Yvonne Van Zandt, a grandson, Brian Alexander, and two great grandchildren, all of San Carlos, California, also four step children, Dorothy Roberts and Evelyn Shearer of Des Moines, Lois Uhr of Minneapolis and Robert Cooke of Berwyn, Illinois and their families; also one sister, Clara Knudson, of Santa Ana, California.

His parents, one brother Oscar and two sisters, Nellie Hyden of Nevada, Iowa and Mamie Gibson of Santa Ana, California, preceded him in death.
