Caroline Ramesbothom died Monday; funeral set Thursday

NEVADA -- Mrs. Caroline M. Ramesbothom, age 85, Nevada, died Monday* morning in the North Grand Care Center in Ames where she had been for the past three weeks. She had been ill for the last two months. Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home here Thursday, Aug. 12 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Born Feb. 26, 1891 in Dunlap, she was the daughter of Winfield and Mary Neville. She had been a resident of Story County for the past 34 years. She was married to Ray C. Ramesbothom* on Aug. 20, 1919 in Bloomfield, Nebr. She was a member of the Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Lyndal of Manhattan, Kan. and Elwyn of Lincoln, Nebr.; three daughters: Mrs. Lorena Brown of Ames, Mrs. Ruby Parker of Livingston, N.Y. and Mrs. Ruth Crews of Lincoln, Nebr.; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one granddaughter adn her husband who died in 1953.
