From Ames Daily Tribune January 18, 1934

NEVADA — Funeral services for Kenneth Kinsman. 19. who died at Iowa sanitarium here Tuesday evening from complication, following an operation. were conducted from the Methodist church here Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock after a short prayer service at the Morfoot funeral home. The Rev. George A. Lawton. pastor of the church, was In charge of services and interment was in the Nevada cemetery. Kenneth was the only son or Mr and Mrs. F. H. Kinsman of North Grant. He was born in Grant township November 19, 1915. He had lived in that community all of his life. He had undergone an operation two weeks ago for acute [---].

[He was educated in] the North Grant school, finishing his work there in 1930 and was graduated from the Nevada high school in 1933. Following his graduation, he entered Iowa State college, Ames, where he had completed a year's work in the landscape architecture division. While at Iowa State, Kenneth affiliated with the Theta Delta Chi fraternity and members of that group served as pallbearers. Besides his parents, Kenneth is survived by two sisters. Mrs. Mildred McDonnell of Nevada and Miss Evelyn Kinsman at home.
