Under Bergen Church Notes:

M. E. Garman returned Tuesday evening from Manuck, Ill., where he was called by the death of his mother. She passed away on the 3rd day of March and funeral took place Friday. Mrs. Garman was born in Jork Co., Penn., in 1832 and in 1864 moved to Manuck, Ill., where she resided until she was called away by death at the age of 83 years, 9 month and 3 days.
