Lucille Ann Muldowney
March 6, 1915 to June 24, 1996

Lucille Ann Muldowney, 81, of Nevada, died of cancer on Monday, June 24, at her home in Nevada.

She was born to Paul and Marion (Young) Wilson in Chicago, Ill., on March 6, 1915.

She married Patrick Joseph Muldowney on June 8, 1936 in Chicago, Ill. She had lived in Nevada for 24 years and worked as a supervisor at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada. She was a member of St. Francis Study Club, a bowling league and Senior Stretch and Tone. She served as a volunteer for the congregate meals in Nevada.

Survivors include one son, Irving J. Muldowney of Park Forest, Ill.; one daughter Wendy Hambly of Nevada; four grandchildren, Paul Muldowney, Michael Muldowney, Steven Langan and Shaun Pietig; two step-grandchildren, Shannon Hambly and Jason Hambly; son step-great-grandchild, Megan Nicole Hambly; and one sister, Verna Myers of Mt. Prospect, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and her husband in April of 1986

Funeral services were held today (June 27) at 10:30 a.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary, with Sister Carole Freking of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Nevada, officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeward Hospice of Ames or the Community Cupboard at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
