Floyd Bales rites Tuesday

Floyd W. Bales, 72, Nevada, died Sunday morning at the Story County Hospital shere he had been a patient two weeks.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Nevada Christian Church with the Rev. William A. Knight officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Born March 31, 1897 at Colo, Bales was a resident of Story County throughout his entire lifetime.

He was a retired R. H. Donnelley employee.

Bales was a member of t Nevada Christian Church and the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Ferne; a daughter, Mrs. Roger French of Nevada; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Ryan Funeral Home at Nevada.
