Karges rites to be Wednesday

Mrs. Darmer V. Karges, 77, Nevada, died about 11 a.m. Sunday at a Cedar Rapids nursing home where she had been a patient for 21 days.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Victor Hackbarth officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Born Aug. 22, 1883 in Nevada, the daughter of John and Maren Larsen she lived all her life in Story County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1945 and by four sisters.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Ames and Mrs. Helga Bonner of Marshalltown as well as several nieces and nephews.
