Christianne Vanessa Duim Ribeiro Anderson, 39, of Huxley, passed away July 14, 2013, at her residence in Huxley after a five and a half year battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Christianne was born July 9, 1974, in São Paul, Brazil to Durval and Edna Ribeiro. On June 25, 1994, she was united in marriage to Marc H. Anderson in Minneapolis, MN. Christianne graduated high school in Brazil, then went on to obtain Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, all from the University of Minnesota. She loved traveling and enjoyed gardening and home remodeling.

Christianne is survived by her husband, Marc, and her children, Magnus, Maximus, and Titan, all of Huxley; her parents, Durval Souza Assis Ribeiro and Edna Mariza Duim Ribeiro; her sisters, Lissianne, Tatianne and Tizianne; and her grandmother, Helia Duim. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Onofre Duim; and her paternal grandparents, Noely de Souza and Milton Assis Ribeiro.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 2-4 PM, at Pullman Place, 17155 Quincy St. NW in Elk River, MN 55330. A life celebration will also take place the following weekend in Huxley at her home. Please contact Marc for additional information on either service.
