Lori Jo Clark
May 21, 1961 - April 11, 2013

Lori Jo Clark, 51 of Colo died on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 15 at the United Methodist Church, 602 4th Street in Colo with Pastor Lewis S. Flanigan officiating. Burial will follow in the Colo Cemetery next to her son Lewis.

Lori was born on May 21, 1961 in Mason City to James W. and Karolyn K. (Whitney) Jones. She was a graduate from Ellsworth College with a degree in accounting. On October 4, 1986, Lori married Robert Allen Clark in Iowa Falls. She was the manager of the Casey's Store in Colo. Lori was passionate about the Dance Marathon and the Heart Connection.

Lori is survived by her husband Robert A. Clark of Colo; her mother Karolyn K. Jones of Iowa Falls; a son Adam Anderson of Earlham; three daughters Corina Kelly of New Hampton, IA, Betsy Franklin of Springfield, IL, and Emma Clark of Ames; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers Gary Jones of Iowa Falls and Jeffrey Jones of Altoona; and a sister Jodie Van Meter of O'Fallon, MO.

Lori was preceded in death by her father on September 7, 2008 and a son Lewis Clark on June 19, 2003.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 708 Fifth Street in Nevada.

A memorial fund has been established in loving memory of Lori for the Dance Marathon.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Lori and her family.
