Jackie Dean Ihle
July 3, 1933 - April 1, 2013

Jack Dean Ihle, 79 of Nevada died on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Story County Medical Center in Nevada. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5 at the Memorial Lutheran Church, 701 11th Street in Nevada with Pastor Myron Herzberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Jack was born on July 3, 1933 in Slater to Cyrus N. and Dorothy (Callahan) Ihle. On January 16, 1952, he was united in marriage to Lou Klockentager in Omaha, NE. Jack was known all over town as the "Milk Man" for his service to AE Dairy for over 30 years. He was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, 50 year member of the Moose Lodge and belonged to the Teamsters Union. Jack adored his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, camping, being and talking to people.

Jack is survived by his wife Lou; a daughter Roxanne (Ron) Scott; two grandchildren Jennifer Litchfield and Matt (Anna) Litchfield, all of Nevada; four great-grandchildren Sadie, Shelby, Macey, and Mattie Backoff.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father Ray Prescott.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4 with the family present from 5-7:00 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 708 Fifth Street in Nevada.

A memorial fund has been established in loving memory of Jack for the Memorial Lutheran Church or the Story County Senior Care.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Jack and his family.
