Funeral services for Mrs. Leciel Mary Harris, 61, Story City, were Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. from the Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with the Rev. Paul H. Beckman officiating. Burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Harris died Dec. 29 at the Story City Memorial Hospital. She had been in poor health for six months.

She was born Aug 17, 1910 near Fonda to Jo and Virina Grant and on June 8, 1935 married Robert Harris at Denison. They lived in Rockwell City a few years before moving to Story City where they lived for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; three sons, Dennis of Marshalltown, Robert of Story City and David, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie Grant of Arlington, Ore., Wayne Grant of Castle Rock, Wash. and Jo, Des Moines and four sisters, Mrs. Lelia Moore, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Laurel Bass, Fonda; Mrs. Bernadette Howard, Webster City and Mrs. Opal Triggs, Lincoln, Neb.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Pallbearers were Darwin Johnson, Harold Holm, Vernon Munson, Roy Oaard, Milo Helland and Joel Ose.
