A Western Union telegram to the Nevada Evening Journal was received this morning from Sarah Ringheim Wall in which she tells of the death of her mother, Mrs. Jennie Simmer Ringheim, 95, who died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1945, at San Fernando, California, at the home of her son Charles Ringheim.
Mrs. Ringheim was born in Vossevangen, Norway, Jan. 9, 1850. She came in Chicago with her parents in 1861 and later to Nevada where she was married to I. A. Ringheim, pioneer Nevada merchant.
She moved to Long Beach, Calif. in 1908. The last three years she lived in Los Angeles and San Fernando. Mrs. Ringheim was a member of the Lutheran church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Charles Tressler of Chicago and Mrs. Roland Wall of Long Beach, Calif. and her sons Charles Ringheim of San Fernando, Calif.; Ed Ringheim of Dinba, Calif.; Noah Ringheim of Los Angeles, Calif.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grand children.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4 at Los Angeles, Calif.
