John E. Drybread, long time Nevada druggist, who would have been 81 years of age had he lived until April 29, 1949, died at his home, 335 I avenue, at 6:15 this morning. His last illness dated from August 17 when he suffered a stroke while spending the summer at the summer cottage of his daughter, Mrs. Helen Peterson at La Porte, Minn.
Mr. Drybread, who was one of th first pharmacists to be licensed in Iowa, is survived by three children, Mrs. Helen Drybread Peterson, Commander William L. Drybread, and Mary Drybread Rapson of Cherokee. He also leaves four grandchildren: Lydia Ann Peterson McLaughlin, in Germany, John K. Peterson and William Peterson of Nevada and George A. Rapson. He also leaves four great grandchildren: James McLaughlin and Mary Helen McLaughlin and Bonnie Davis Peterson and John K. Peterson.
