Emil Gandrup passed away in the hospital at Belmond, Sunday morning , April 8th. Gandrup was injured internally when he leaped from the second story window of the building which burned at Belmond March 30. According to reports pneumonia caused by the fumes of the fire, hastened his death. His brother and sister, Arthur and Emelia, of this place were at his bedside when he passed away. The body was brought here Sunday evening and the funeral services will be held at the Arthur Gandrup home as soon as arrangements can be made. Funeral services for the older brother, William, who lost his life in the fire were held here April 1st. Mr. Gandrup is survived by a son and daughter who live in the west, besides his sister and brother of this place.
