MRS. MARTHA KLOSTER

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Annette (Nettie) Kloster, 86, Minneapolis, Minn. were held May 19 form the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church, Huxley, with the Rev. Marvin E. Nygaard officiating. Burial was at the Fjeldberg Cemetery.

Mrs. Kloster suffered a fall April 12 and after hospitalization and a move to a nursing home, died May 16 in Minneapolis.

Mrs. Kloster was born near Cambridge. She was baptized, confirmed and married in the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church at Huxley. She was married to Lars S. Kloster June 13, 1913, he preceded her in death June 21, 1947.

She lived in Des Moines for about 25 years until moving to Harpers Ferry and to Garnsville where her husband was superintendent of schools. Later she moved to Minneapolis, Minn.

Survivors include two sons, Alexander L. Kloster, Knoxville and Marion J. Kloster, Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Louise A. Fitzgerald, Pittsburgh, Pa.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Cora Hulderson, Cambridge.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Henry, Wier, Charlie, Rasmus and George and two sisters, Ella Berhow and Annie Sheldahl.

Pallbearers were Clifford Birkestrand, Orville Birkestrand, Joseph Birkestrand, Laird Harris, W. M. Hughes and John Sheldahl.
