MRS. HELEN M. ULLESTAD

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Ullestad, 76, Story City, were held March 15 from the Bethany Manor Chapel, Story City, with the Rev. William A. Ostroot officiating and from the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, with the Rev. Olaf Holen officiating. Burial was in the Story City Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Ullestad was born March 10, 1899 in Rose Grove. She married Elmer Ullestad in Radcliffe on Feb. 12, 1921. Mrs. Ullestad was a resident of Ames from 1928 to 1970. She had been employed by Woolworth's for nine years and by the Collegiate Manufacturing Co. She moved to Bethany Manor in 1970.

Mrs. Ullestad is survived by three sons; Harold of Cleveland, Ohio, Donald of Heightstown, N.J. and Richard of Oskaloosa; a daughter, Eleanor Beaumont of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Lamoreaus, Ames; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1954, her parents and four brothers.
