Nellie Yockey Dies Sunday
STORY CITY (Special) -- Mrs. Nellie Yockey of Story City passed away at 10 a. m. in the Mary Greeley hospital at Ames, where she had been taken Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Yockey had formerly operated a millinery shop at Story City.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p. m. in the Larson-Peterson funeral home and at 2 p. m. from the Grace Evangilical United Brethren church. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Lawrence of San Francisco, Calif., and Harold of Story City, and two daughters, Florence of New York and Ethelyn of Tennessee.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Nellie (Adrich) Yockey was born in Jackson County, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew Aldrich and Mannie Dittoe. She married James M. Yockey on 24 November 1890 in Onawa, Monona County, Iowa.
