WILLIAM NASH
William M. Nash was born Sept 21, 1876, the fourth child of M. D. and Rose E. Nash*. He departed this life Feb. 25, 1934. His father, mother and two brothers have preceded him in death.
With his parents he lived and grew to manhood on the farm where he was born southeast of Story City. Later he learned the barber trade which he followed for a number of years.
He leaves to mourn his loss one sister and one brother, namely Mrs. Mary Bickelhaupt of Hollandale, Minn., and A. W. Nash of Story City, and numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral services were conducted from the Henderson Funeral Home by Harold Moe and Rev. Fuller. Two hymns were rendered by Mrs. Moe and Mrs. Ritland. The hymn, "Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me," requested by William, was beautifully rendered by them. Interment was made in Sheffield cemetery.
The following acted as pall bearers: Andrew and Knute Knutson, Anson Ballard, Frank Sheffield, Merl Shade and Joe Sunnoe.
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Rose E. Nash was born Rosaltha Elizabeth Chandler, daughter of Sylvanus Chandler and Sarah (Harlow) Chandler of Cambridge, Story County, Iowa.
