Maxine Dodds died Thursday

Mrs. Maxine Ann Dodds, 40, Route One, died at her home Thursday.

Born Oct. 31, 1926, near Story City, she was the daughter of Theodore B. and Agnes Jacobson.

She married Bill Dodds. The couple had farmed near Gilbert since their marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; a daughter, Denise, and a son, Bruce, both at home, and her father Theodore Jacobson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Jacobson, and a brother, Joel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the St. Petri Lutheran Church, Story City, with the Rev. Harold Rice, pastor of the Gilbert Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery.

Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
