Former Roland youth, 16, died

Phil Stuart Twedt, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlene Twedt, former Roland residents now living in Faribault, Minn., died at Methodist Hospital at Rochester, Minn. Sunday, March 3, at 9:15 a.m. following a short illness.

Funeral services have been set for Wednesday at Faribault from the First English Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Services will also beheld Thursday at 2 p.m. from Salem Lutheran Church in Roland with the Rev. G. H. Huggenvik of Faribault officiating. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Survivors include his parents and brother, Larry, all of Faribault, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar G. Twedt of Roland.

Friends may call at the Larson Funeral Home in Story City Wednesday evening or Thursday morning before the services.
