From Nevada Representative December 27, 1882

--W. W. Corbin a brakeman on the Northwestern was killed two or three miles east of Glidden last Tuesday morning. He seems to have fallen upon the track between the first car and tender. The whole train, consisting of a dozen cars, passed over him terribly mutilating his body and leaving traces of blood and flesh on the running gear of the entire train. He was a single man and a resident of Dayton.
