In Vernon, Iowa, February 1st, 1882, of inflammation of the stomach, Joseph Vernon, son of S. E. and M. J. Roe, aged 4 months and 16 days.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Vernon, Iowa" refers to Vernon Township, Humboldt County, Iowa. "S. E. and M. J. Roe" were Samuel E. Roe and Maggie J. (Robinson) Roe.
