Died.

On Sunday morning July 24th, in Nevada township, of congestive fever, Ammon A. Ashford, aged 14 years and 5 days, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Ashford, formerly of Calcutta, Ohio.

Young Ashford had resided with his parents in this township, only about a year, was a bright and active young man, and came to his death through exposures in trying to save property that was being carried away during the late high water. His illness was only of about a weeks duration, and his loss is a severe blow to his parents.
