Richard Bruce Olson

BORN: April 2, 1969
DIED: October 4, 2012
LOCATION: Des Moines, Iowa

Richard Olson was born April 2, 1969 to Bruce Elliott and Veronica Eleanor (Keigley) Olson in Ames, Iowa. He graduated high school in Mountain Home, Arkansas. After high school he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. After the service, he lived in Mountain Home for several years before moving to Des Moines. Richard worked for Reames Foods in Clive. He enjoyed coin collecting, golf, puzzles and trivia games.

Richard passed away October 4, 2012 in Des Moines at 43 years of age.

He is survived by his daughter Tracey Olson of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his mother, Vicky Johnston of Mountain Home; his brother Bradley (Luann) Olson of Mountain Home; his sisters Heidi Coney (Clark Hawthorne) of Ames and Leigh (Jeremy) Flowers of Mountain Home; two grandchildren, AJ Seiger and CJ Seiger of Stillwater; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to the family.
