Virginia D. Elliott
July 30, 1925 - January 23, 2011

Virginia Darlyn Elliott, 85 formerly of Maxwell, died on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Story County Senior Care in Nevada. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26 at the Peoria Cemetery in rural Maxwell.

Virginia was born on July 30, 1925 in Iowa Center to Robert B. and Matilda (Fleenor) Smith. She was a 1944 graduate of Maxwell High School. Virginia always had two jobs - a day time job in the factory and a night time job in a restaurant. She had lived in Maxwell since 1985.
Virginia is survived by 2 daughters, Sue Hudson of Maxwell and Pat Daubert of Scott City, KS; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Doris Phillips of Ohio and Juanita Taylor of Mountain Grove, MO.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Donnie Elliott on May 9, 1993, and a sister Mable McGowan.
Cemetery:

Burial will be in Peoria Cemetery in Maxwell, Iowa.
