Vivian Stenberg

BORN: March 24, 1923
DIED: November 12, 2010
LOCATION: Story City, Iowa

Vivian Corrine Stenberg, 87, of Story City died Friday, November 12 at Israel Family Hospice House. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
Vivian was born March 24, 1923 in Radcliffe to Irwin S. and Gertie C. (Selvig) Stenberg. She was employed at Waldorf College. Vivian was a member of Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley and attended services at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and playing cards.

Vivian is survived by her sister, June Thorsbakken, of Ames; brother-in-law, Lamont Wicks of Story City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marian Arneson and Mavis Wicks; brothers-in-law, Chuck Thorsbakken and Joel Arneson; and three infant brothers.

Memorials may be given to Waldorf College or Fjeldberg Lutheran Church.
